What Does the Mebane Business Association Do? Here's How We Made an Impact Last Year!The Mebane Business Association is more than just a group of businesses—we’re a force for good in our community! Throughout 2024, we worked hard to support local schools, bring people together through exciting events, and provide opportunities for businesses to grow and thrive. Here's a closer look at some of the ways we made a difference:🌟 Supporting Our CommunityLocal Schools: Every year, we proudly present checks to our local schools, helping fund important programs and initiatives that benefit students and teachers.Food Drives: We helped organize both Thanksgiving and Christmas food drives to ensure local families in need had meals to celebrate the holidays.Service Projects: We worked as a team to spread mulch, lay new pavers, and give EM Yoder a fresh look for the new school year.🎉 Creating Memorable EventsThe Dogwood Festival brought thousands of people to downtown Mebane for a two-day event featuring golf tournaments, car shows, 5K, street fair, and a concert!In the fall, we worked alongside Destination Downtown Mebane to bring the community together for Autumn Fest, a fall festival with small town charm!Our Summer Concert Series stage sponsorship and Movies in the Park popcorn sponsorship helped provide free entertainment for families to enjoy.We also dedicated Fiddler's Stage, a wonderful addition at Mebane Community Park that will serve our community for years to come.🤝 Empowering Local BusinessesFrom networking socials to monthly meetings with amazing speakers and breakfast sponsors, we created opportunities for business owners to connect, learn, and grow.By joining the MBA, businesses gain visibility, support, and a chance to participate in impactful community projects and high-profile events.❤️ Giving BackThrough fundraisers like the 4th of July Hot Dog Fundraiser, we raised funds to help local veterans.This is just a snapshot of what MBA members accomplished in 2024.
